The Morning Benders

Loose Change = a great name for an EP... I mean, isn't that what an ep is at the end of the day? Usually anyway.

This EP from SF indiepoppers The Morning Benders is a somewhat different equation than the title implies. It is more like a briefcase full of benjamins. Well, not quite, but it a bunch of George Washingtons under a strippers garter belt at the very least. And quite possibly so much more. But lets pace ourselves now.

Each song on this EP sounds very different which could be a sign of diversity or of a band that hasn't quite found there sound yet. Or maybe both.

Memorable hooks, catchy backing vocals, nice guitar melodies, they have something going here...'I Was Wrong' (fucking important) and 'Grain Of Salt' (sounds like The Strokes, but in a good way) are the highlights. I like them. I want to see them live and hear more tunes before I love them.

Oh, and great name by the way.
