The A-Team Movie is a Go!!
I'll believe it when I see it...
Me from NY2LON Headquarters

So, rumor has it that the A-Team movie is being rescued from no-man's land, where it has been languishing for about a decade. John Singleton is set to direct; Michael Bandt and Derek Haas will write the screenplay. So who's playing who? The cast has yet to be determined, but everyone's a casting director these days, no? Some are more confirmed than others, but here's an educated guess...

HANNIBAL - GEORGE CLOONEY

I love it when a plan comes together.

FACE - OWEN WILSON

How YOU doin'

MURDOCK - WOODY HARRELSON.. Director Singleton has come out and said he really, really wants it to be him.

Awooooooooooo!

B.A. BARACUS - ICE CUBE openly talks about the role, and he's worked with Singleton when he starred in the director's debut, 'Boyz N the Hood.'

Fuck tha police

Yea yeah, ok..

I pity the fool

While I think Brad Pitt would make a good Face, i think the Clooney/Pitt combo would just overshadow everything else... The movie would lose its balance, you know what I mean? Plus, George Clooney, Brad Pitt... and then Ice Cube and Woody Harrelson... Sounds more like Ocean's 15 to me.

That said, I got to thinking... How boutttttt....

Hannibal: Ed Harris, Philip Seymore Hoffman (cause he can play any part), Jake Taylor from Major League (aka Tom Berenger), or Bill Parcells

Face: James Marsden (too young), Jefferson D'arcy (too old), Tom Glavine (not an actor, and no one in New York would go see it, purely based on principle.)

Murdock: i'm sorry, Woody Harrelson, like, is murdock. I've heard Jim Carrey, but... no. And I've also heard Johnny Knoxville. Come on, folks. Get a grip.

B.A.: Just let Mr. T do itttttt.. I mean, let's be honest, homeboy hasn't aged a bit. Or just go with Philip Seymore Hoffman...
